A SUMMARY OF THE MONITORING OF THE PERSECUTION OF ENVIRONMENTAL ACTIVISTS

Composed of at least 11 new administrative protocols, including 5 for violation of the regime of self-isolation. 12 earlier episodes has been developed.
The main causes of persecution in June were demonstrations against the construction of incinerators (2) in Solnechnogorsk, Voskresensk, Moscow region, the construction of a coal-loading station of mine "Kuznetsk South" in the village of Ceresa Novokuznetsk district of the Kemerovo region (2) and the destruction of green areas (2) in Vsevolozhsk Leningrad region, and Nizhny Novgorod. Also with pressure on activists associated with the construction of a chemical plant in Nakhodka (1) and garbage landfill station Sees Arkhangelsk region (1), plans to launch the City hydroelectric power station in the Kemerovo region (1) and the adoption of the regional law in Primorsky Krai that allows to eliminate protected areas (1).
